Speaking of throwback Thursday… This video belongs to the MediaLAB era. MediaLAB was a company I co-founded with old friend Fede Lang right in the middle of the 2008 financial crisis. We did surprisingly well for the harsh economic times.

Now about the video… Los Govinda was a Costa Rican band fronted by Pedro Capmany. The song in the video “Best song of the year” at the ACAM awards in 2010 (Let’s just say they’re the Costa Rican Grammys)

The video was directed by Miguel Gomez and shot by Fede. I took care of the edit. It definitely feels dated for 2019 standards, nonetheless, it was a fun project to work in. The video was cut in Final Cut 7 and required a few After Effects tweaks.
