RAFA VS RONALDO

Rafa vs Ronaldo: The Duel, was a PokerStars press event. Tennis player Rafa Nadal and Brazilian Football legend Ronaldo would meet at a London casino for a charity poker game. 

Volcano City, a really cool production company I worked for in the UK. Were tasked with creating a short summary of the video, and create a video newsreel package for worldwide distribution to news outlets.

We hired the lighting kit from Procam in London, which was delivered and collected according to schedule.

Me and my colleagues took the overnight sleeper train from Edinburgh to London and started setting up. Lighting-up the set, and setting up the lights for 3 separate interview locations to be used by other members of the press. one setup for Rafa, one for Ronaldo and one for PokerStars brand ambassadors. Let’s say it was close to being a press junket.

Chris Archer and myself were using Sony FS-700 to cover different key moments at the event. And filmed separate interviews for distribution with the VNR.
