GDS

This project is an oldie but I still like the result in terms of the motion graphics.

GDS Datacenter was promoting their new operation in Costa Rica and wanted to portray an image which inspired one thing, security.

Inspired in the aesthetic approach taken by some AAA video games at the time. I went with a retro military-type approach with the satellite views,  the grid graphics and of course, loads of black and green.

The logo itself was inspired by a brainstorming session with the clients. Someone said something like “And we emerge from the digital into the physical” talking about some other tech-related topic and I thought to myself… This could be the logo. The Binary becomes the brand. 

Luckily the clients were quite pleased with the approach.

The full video is a bit long, so just cut the sequences which I animated for the purpose of this demo.
